Aamir Khan Productions has officially announced the title of their upcoming romantic drama starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi as Mere Raho. The film is slated for a theatrical release on December 12, 2025.

Mere Raho marks a significant collaboration, with Sunil Pandey directing and Mansoor Khan co-producing alongside Aamir Khan. This reunites Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan after 17 years since their last project, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

The film's announcement puts an end to speculation surrounding the project, which was previously rumored to be titled Ek Din and slated for a November 7, 2025, release.

Mere Raho is set against the backdrop of picturesque Japanese winters and captures the famous Snow Festival of Sapporo. Filming took place in early 2024, with the cast and crew overcoming challenges posed by unexpected heavy snowfall.

This film is particularly significant for both Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi. It is Junaid Khan's third acting project and second theatrical release. He debuted with Maharaj on OTT, which received positive feedback, followed by Loveyapa, which had a lukewarm reception. Mere Raho is expected to provide Junaid with another opportunity to solidify his position in the film industry, especially with Sai Pallavi as his co-star. For Sai Pallavi, Mere Raho marks her Bollywood debut. She is a celebrated actress in South Indian cinema, known for her acting talent and screen presence in films like Gargi and Virata Parvam.

Aamir Khan Productions is known for backing strong, content-driven stories. Their filmography includes Taare Zameen Par, Dangal, and Laapataa Ladies.

Mere Raho is expected to be a blend of emotion, romance, and performance. Although plot details are under wraps, the film is described as a love story. Some reports suggest the movie is loosely based on the 2011 Korean film One Day, although there has been no official confirmation.

Mere Raho's release on December 12, 2025, places it in a competitive window, releasing a week after Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar and Vishal Bhardwaj's untitled film starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri.
