Vadodara Woman Protests Over Golgappa Shortage: Sits on Road Demanding Full Order and Justice for Rs 20

In a bizarre turn of events in Vadodara, Gujarat, a woman staged a protest on a busy road, bringing traffic to a standstill, all over a Golgappa discrepancy. The incident occurred near Sursagar Lake, a popular spot in Vadodara. The woman claimed that the vendor was charging ₹20 for six Golgappas but only gave her four.

Upset by this, the woman sat in the middle of the road, demanding justice. Her actions caused a significant traffic jam, drawing the attention of passersby. When questioned about her unusual protest, she broke down, explaining that she had been shortchanged. According to her, everyone else was getting six Golgappas for ₹20, but she only received four. She insisted that either she should get two more Golgappas, or the vendor's stall should be removed from the street.

The situation escalated, requiring the intervention of the police. A team from DIAL 112 arrived at the scene to try and resolve the matter. After considerable effort, they managed to persuade the woman to leave, bringing an end to the traffic disruption.

Before leaving with the police, the woman alleged that the Golgappa vendor often shortchanged customers and behaved aggressively. She called for his shop to be shut down. Authorities have not yet commented on the situation. The incident reportedly took place under the jurisdiction of the Raopura police station. The VMC's health department stated they couldn't take action on the vendor's discretion, as their job was to ensure food safety and quality.

The incident has sparked amusement and disbelief online, with many questioning the woman's extreme reaction over a minor discrepancy.
