Prashant Kishor, the political strategist-turned-politician, has predicted a triangular contest in Bihar for the upcoming assembly elections, specifically on 160-170 seats. Speaking at the NDTV Power Play conclave, Kishor expressed confidence that his Jan Suraaj party will significantly impact the electoral landscape.

Kishor stated that Jan Suraaj will either secure less than 10 or more than 150 votes in the impending Bihar assembly elections. This bold prediction underscores Kishor's belief in the potential for his party to either be a marginal player or a significant force in the state's politics. He has been actively campaigning, asserting that he offers voters a viable alternative.

Previously, Kishor emphasized the importance of electing candidates with a clean image, comprising doctors, lawyers, former bureaucrats, and police officers. He stated that if such individuals are not elected, the responsibility lies with the people of Bihar. Kishor has highlighted key candidates, praising their work and emphasizing that they were chosen based on their contributions to the people.

In the context of the Bihar bypolls, triangular contests were observed in all four seats, with Jan Suraaj Party making its electoral debut. Kishor had earlier claimed that his party would make major parties "bite the dust" in the bypolls before contesting all 243 seats in the Assembly elections.

Kishor has also launched attacks on the Mahagathbandhan, labeling it a "Thugbandhan" and accusing it of corruption and false promises. He urged voters not to be misled, asserting that the real contest in Bihar is between the NDA and Jan Suraaj. He has also said that defeating the Nitish Kumar and BJP-led alliance is key to ensuring education and jobs for the youth.
