Tejashwi Yadav's 36th Birthday: Cake Cutting and Celebrations at Lively Election Rally.

Karakat, Bihar – Tejashwi Yadav, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Grand Alliance chief ministerial candidate, celebrated his 36th birthday in a unique fashion on Sunday, November 9, 2025 – amidst an election rally in Karakat, Bihar. The birthday celebration was interwoven with his campaign efforts as the state gears up for the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections on November 11.

Addressing a public gathering at the Inter College ground in Sanjhauli, Yadav took a moment to cut a birthday cake on stage, surrounded by enthusiastic supporters holding placards with birthday wishes. He then urged the electorate to cast their votes for the CPI(ML) candidate from Karakat, Arun Kumar. During his address, Yadav sharpened his criticism of the ruling NDA government, branding it as "dishonest".

Earlier in the day, a 36-pound cake was presented to Yadav at the RJD state headquarters in Patna. However, the scene quickly turned chaotic as children and party workers rushed to grab pieces of the cake, leading to a frenzy that was captured in a widely circulated video.

Yadav also promised a "return gift" to his supporters if the Grand Alliance is voted to power. "I thank you all for birthday wishes. I promise you that as soon as we form the government, after the counting of votes on November 14, you all will get a return gift," he stated. He also expressed his vision for transforming Bihar to prevent the need for people to migrate in search of employment.

Wishes poured in from across the political spectrum. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi shared a photo from their Voter Adhikar Yatra, wishing Yadav happiness and health and expressing confidence in bringing change, employment, equality, and progress to Bihar. Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav praised Tejashwi's growing popularity, predicting a new, young, and energetic Chief Minister for Bihar. Even Tejashwi's estranged brother, Tej Pratap Yadav, extended his best wishes, while also claiming a threat to his own life.

Yadav also took the opportunity to criticize the current government for neglecting key issues such as education, employment, health, and the 65% reservation. He asserted that Bihar is ready for change.

As the campaigning intensifies for the second phase of the elections, Tejashwi Yadav is scheduled to hold numerous rallies across different Assembly segments, including five in Rohtas district. The RJD is contesting in 143 seats in the Bihar Assembly election 2025, with 70 candidates in the fray for the second phase.
