Jasmine Tookes and her husband, Juan David Borrero, have welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Mateo Ira Borrero. The couple announced the arrival of their son on Monday, November 10, 2025, via Instagram, sharing a series of heartwarming black and white photos featuring themselves, their newborn, and their two-year-old daughter, Mia. Tookes captioned the post, "The greatest blessing. Mateo Ira Borrero 🤎 10.28.25," revealing that Mateo was born on October 28, 2025.
The birth of their son comes just weeks after Tookes made headlines by opening the 2025 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City on October 15. The model confidently showcased her baby bump on the runway, marking a significant moment in her career and pregnancy journey.
Tookes, 34, had revealed her pregnancy in July 2025 with a maternity shoot shared on Instagram. In the photos, she posed elegantly in white, cradling her growing baby bump. "Another little soul to love🤎 @juandavidborrero," she wrote in the caption. Months before Mateo's arrival, Tookes spoke to People magazine about the challenges of her second pregnancy, noting that it was "a little bit harder just because I do have a toddler". She also expressed her excitement about the new addition to their family.
Tookes and Borrero, who married in Ecuador in September 2021, welcomed their first child, Mia, in February 2023. The Victoria's Secret model returned to the runway this year, joining a diverse cast of models, including veterans and newcomers. The 2025 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which made its comeback in 2024, featured musical performances by Missy Elliott, Madison Beer, Karol G, and K-pop group TWICE.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show streamed live on Prime Video and Amazon Live, as well as on Victoria's Secret's Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok channels. The show included appearances from models such as Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid and Ashley Graham.
