Vivo X300 Series India Launch: Dimensity 9500, Specs, Price Expectations for December 2nd.

The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are set to launch in India on December 2nd at 12 PM IST, marking Vivo's entry into the premium smartphone market with cutting-edge technology. These flagship devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC and run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6, making them the first Vivo phones in India to feature the new UI.

Expected Specifications and Features

Both the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro have already been launched in China and other global markets, giving a clear indication of what to expect in the Indian variants.

Display: The Vivo X300 features a 6.31-inch flat BOE Q10 Plus LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The X300 Pro sports a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display, also with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both displays boast 4500 nits of peak brightness and 2160Hz PWM dimming to minimize eye strain. The displays also have HDR10+ and HDR Vivid support.

Processor, RAM, and Storage: Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The X300 and X300 Pro are expected to come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Cameras: The Vivo X300 features a triple rear camera setup, including a 200MP Samsung HPB primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The X300 Pro boasts a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto lens. Both phones have a 50MP Samsung JN1 front-facing camera for selfies. The cameras are also tuned by Zeiss.

Battery and Charging: The Vivo X300 is powered by a 6,040mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support. The X300 Pro has a larger 6,510mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

Operating System: Both smartphones will run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Design: The X300 Pro has a thickness of 7.99mm and weighs 226 grams, while the X300 is marginally thinner at 7.95mm and weighs 190 grams. Both devices come with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.

Other Features: Both phones support Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and an infrared port.

India-Exclusive Red Color Variant: The standard Vivo X300 will be available in an India-exclusive red color variant. The X300 Pro will come in Dune Brown and Phantom Black colorways.

Zeiss Telephoto Extender Kit: Vivo will also launch a Photographer Kit in India, including a 2.35x Telephoto Extender compatible with both the X300 and X300 Pro. This kit will be sold separately and enhances the telephoto capabilities of the phones.

Expected Price: The Vivo X300 is expected to start around ₹54,700 for the 12GB/256GB model and could go up to ₹72,900 for higher variants. The Vivo X300 Pro model will likely command a higher price.
