In a grand gesture of love, director Vignesh Shivan gifted his wife, actress Nayanthara, a Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre, estimated to be worth ₹10 crore, for her birthday. Shivan shared images of the luxury car on social media, marking the special occasion.

Nayanthara, born Diana Mariam Kurian on November 18, 1983, has had a career spanning over 20 years, acting in over 80 movies. Referred to as the "lady superstar of Indian cinema", she primarily appears in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. Nayanthara was featured on the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list in 2018 and is one of the highest-paid actresses in India. She made her acting debut in the 2003 Malayalam film Manassinakkare, followed by her Tamil debut in Ayya (2005) and her Telugu debut in Lakshmi (2006).

Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara have been in a relationship since working together on Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in 2015. They officially married in June 2022 in Mahabalipuram and announced the birth of their twin children via surrogacy in October of the same year.

Nayanthara's professional achievements include Filmfare Awards for Best Tamil Actress for her performances in Raja Rani (2013), Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015), and Aramm (2017).
