Quad Nations Unite: Demand Justice for Red Fort Terror Attack, Seeking Perpetrator Accountability and Closure.

New Delhi, India – The Quad nations have issued a strong call for the perpetrators, organizers, and financiers of the recent terror attack near the Red Fort in Delhi to be brought to justice. The coordinated statement from India, the United States, Australia, and Japan follows the heinous bombing on November 10, 2025, which resulted in the deaths of 15 people and injuries to over 20 others.

The blast, which involved a car packed with explosives, occurred during the evening rush hour near the iconic Red Fort. Initial investigations suggest the attack was perpetrated by a suicide bomber. A "white collar terror module," allegedly linked to Pakistan-based terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, an affiliate of al-Qaida, is suspected to be behind the attack. The suicide bomber has been identified as Umar un-Nabi, a doctor working at Al-Falah University in Faridabad.

The Quad's condemnation came during the 3rd Quad Counterterrorism Working Group (CTWG) meeting. Member countries exchanged assessments on the evolving terrorism threat landscape, particularly within the Indo-Pacific region. Discussions encompassed a wide array of counterterrorism cooperation strategies and measures designed to tackle both existing and emerging challenges. The Quad partners have pledged to deepen their counterterrorism cooperation and plan to convene the next CTWG meeting in 2026.

In the wake of the attack, security measures were heightened across the National Capital Region, with increased checks, patrols, and surveillance in crowded areas. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the investigation, working in collaboration with state police forces to apprehend all members of the terrorist module involved. So far, seven individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.

Recent reports indicate that the terror module intended to use drones to target security establishments and public places, mirroring drone warfare tactics seen in conflict zones. Raids conducted in Kashmir have yielded "several incriminating materials," further connecting the module to the Red Fort blast.

The United States and India jointly condemned the Red Fort attack during the 21st Meeting of the India-USA Joint Working Group on Counter Terrorism. They expressed concerns over the increasing use of unmanned aerial vehicles, drones, and AI for terrorist purposes. Both sides have called for additional sanctions against ISIS and al-Qaida affiliates, as well as Lashkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and their related entities.

Russia has also condemned the terror attack near the Red Fort, with Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov expressing solidarity with India. Peskov emphasized that Moscow stands firmly with India against acts of terror and conveyed condolences for the victims.

The international community's response to the Red Fort attack underscores the collective commitment to combating terrorism and ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice.
