The Congress party has suspended Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of Navjot Singh Sidhu, days after her controversial "500 Crores" remark. The suspension was announced on Monday, December 8, 2025, by the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) chief, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring.

Senior Congress leader Partap Singh Bajwa called the suspension "the right decision at the right time," stating that such "baseless allegations" could not be made.
