In November 2025, he revealed details of a bipartisan U.S. Congressional resolution celebrating India's rise and the deepening strategic partnership between the two countries. The resolution also enhances counterterrorism cooperation between the United States and India is essential to protect the citizens, strengthen regional stability, disrupt terrorist networks and promote rules-based international order.

Looking ahead, it remains to be seen whether India will actively pursue a mediating role in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
