Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas have a history of successful collaborations, including Julayi, S/O Satyamurthy, and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Their 2020 film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, achieved widespread acclaim and broke box office records across South India. Their partnership is known for sharp storytelling and memorable characters.

This will be Allu Arjun's third major project. He is also working on Pushpa 3 with director Sukumar and a film with director Atlee, tentatively titled AA22 X A6, which is anticipated to be a large-scale sci-fi action entertainer with international-level visuals and extensive use of VFX. Deepika Padukone has reportedly joined the cast of AA22 X A6.
The Allu Arjun–Trivikram collaboration has been highly anticipated by fans. Interestingly, the mythological story was initially planned for Allu Arjun before being considered for Jr. NTR.
