A strong focus on numerical problem-solving and conceptual clarity is essential.
  • Chemistry: Similar to Physics, the Chemistry syllabus is divided into 20 units encompassing Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry. Key areas include Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, Molecular Structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Chemical Kinetics, Solutions, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, and Electrochemistry, Hydrocarbons, Biomolecules, Coordination Compounds and Environmental Chemistry. Aspirants need to have a clear understanding of chemical reactions, formulas, and their applications.
  • Biology: The Biology syllabus, covering both Botany and Zoology, comprises 10 units. Major topics include Human Physiology, Genetics, Ecology, Cell Biology, Reproduction, Biology and Human Welfare, Environment, Biotechnology and its Applications. Topics like Frog and Insect morphology also continue to be part of the syllabus. Strong NCERT-based preparation is crucial.

Exam Date and Further Updates:

While the official notification with the exact exam date is yet to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), it is expected that NEET UG 2026 will be conducted on May 3, 2026, following the trend of holding the exam on the first Sunday of May. The official notification, including the detailed schedule and application process, is anticipated to be released around January or February 2026.
