The couple, who were seen at Mumbai airport in matching black outfits before their departure, are enjoying the holiday season in the United States following the success of Ranveer's latest film. Ranveer's spy thriller 'Dhurandhar', directed by Aditya Dhar, has become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, earning over Rs 1,100 crore since its release on December 5.

Fans and members of the Indian American community have encountered the stars on the streets of New York City. Photos circulating on Instagram show Ranveer posing for selfies and Deepika surrounded by fans, with one fan expressing their joy at meeting Ranveer in NYC. Deepika was seen dressed in an all-white winter outfit.

The couple also celebrated the New Year with a special culinary experience at Chef Vikas Khanna's restaurant, Bungalow, where they enjoyed authentic Indian cuisine. Chef Khanna shared images on Instagram of the couple making pomegranate and cardamom modaks, a traditional Indian sweet dumpling. Khanna also mentioned that all guests at Bungalow on New Year's Day would enjoy these modaks, which symbolize auspicious beginnings, prosperity, wisdom, and blessings.

Deepika is currently working on the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'King', which is expected to be released in theatres in 2026.
