The leaked video shows Yash shirtless on a balcony, casually smoking while wearing jeans. This glimpse of Yash in a relaxed, yet stylish avatar, has ignited excitement among his fans, who are eagerly anticipating his return to the big screen after the blockbuster success of "KGF: Chapter 2". "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups" is directed by Geetu Mohandas and features a star-studded cast, including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair. Kiara Advani has reportedly already completed her portions of the film. The movie is produced by Yash himself.

The film is described as a period gangster drama and is slated to release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid and Ugadi. It is expected to be released in multiple languages, including Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Besides "Toxic," Yash is also slated to play Raavan in Nitesh Tiwari's two-part mythological drama, "Ramayana". The first part of "Ramayana" is expected to release on Diwali 2026.
