Shin Hye-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk's "The Art of Sarah" Crime Thriller Coming to Netflix.

The South Korean crime thriller "The Art of Sarah," starring Shin Hye-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk, is set to premiere globally on Netflix on February 13, 2026. Directed by Kim Jin-min and written by Chu Song-yeon, the series promises a suspenseful storyline and is expected to draw significant attention from international audiences.

"The Art of Sarah" revolves around Sarah Kim (Shin Hye-sun), a woman who constructs a fraudulent identity as a high-society luxury brand executive. However, her life takes a dark turn when a body, initially believed to be hers, is discovered in a Seoul sewer. Detective Park Mu-gyeong (Lee Jun-hyuk) takes on the case and soon finds that Sarah has no clear personal records, leading him to uncover inconsistencies and multiple identities. As the investigation progresses, Sarah's carefully constructed world begins to crumble, revealing the consequences of her long-term deception and raising questions about identity, truth, and self-invention.

The series explores themes of ambition, deception, and the fragility of constructed realities. The teaser and poster released by Netflix offer a glimpse into the show's intense narrative. The poster depicts a grim crime scene with a luxury handbag obscuring a victim's face, symbolizing the show's themes of vanity and hidden identity. The teaser presents multiple facets of Sarah Kim, leaving viewers questioning her true identity and life. It juxtaposes a glamorous Sarah, indulging in luxury, with another version of herself in worn clothes, working hard.

Shin Hye-sun portrays the enigmatic Sarah Kim, a character who embodies luxury but is shrouded in mystery. Lee Jun-hyuk plays Mu-gyeong, the determined detective tasked with piecing together Sarah's true identity from a web of lies. This marks the first time the two actors have shared the screen since the 2017 crime thriller series "Stranger". The supporting cast includes Kim Jae-won as Ji Hwan, Jung Da-bin as Woo Hyo Eun, and Shin Hyun-seung in undisclosed roles.

"The Art of Sarah" is produced by SLL and structured as an eight-episode mystery thriller series, with each episode running for approximately 60 minutes. The series is under the direction of Kim Jin-min, known for his work on "My Name" and "Lawless Lawyer," and written by Chu Song-yeon.

Originally known as "Lady Doir," the series title was later changed to "The Art of Sarah". Filming concluded in May 2025. The series will be available with a subscription on Netflix.
