In a recent interview, Madhu shared that Siddharth "grew up on his own" because she was constantly traveling with Priyanka, while her husband, Dr. Ashok Chopra, remained occupied with his medical practice.

As movie offers began to pour in, Madhu dedicated herself to supporting her daughter, pausing her own career as a doctor to be by Priyanka's side. This meant extensive travel and a significant shift in the family dynamic, leaving Siddharth to navigate his teenage years largely independently.

Madhu expressed regret over the limited parental presence Siddharth experienced during those formative years. In an interview on the "Something Bigger Show," she described Siddharth as "collateral damage" to Priyanka's success. She recounted how her husband was busy with work and she was always with Priyanka, leading to Siddharth growing up on his own. Remembering this time, Madhu became emotional, acknowledging the difficulties they had to deal with.

Despite the pressures of managing Priyanka's career, her own medical practice, and household duties, Madhu emphasized the importance of dedicating quality time to her children. She stated that when she was with them, it was "100 percent children's time," which she believes helped them develop strong work ethics and understand the importance of balancing work, family, and personal life.
