Kidman's trip to Antarctica marks her visit to the seventh continent, achieving a remarkable travel milestone. "Thank you @SilverSea for taking me to my 7th continent! Once in a lifetime adventure with family and friends," Kidman captioned the post. The photos showcase the family's embrace of the polar environment, with Kidman and her daughters wearing protective red and black snowsuits and dark sunglasses. Another image features Kidman in a white puffer jacket and black pants, posing on a vessel with a glacier backdrop. She also shared a photo of herself relaxing and reading a book onboard the ship. Kidman's sister Antonia, and a friend she referred to as "my bestie" also joined the group on the Silversea cruise.
The Antarctic voyage follows Kidman's recent divorce from Keith Urban, finalized on January 6, after nearly two decades of marriage. Kidman filed for divorce in September 2025, citing irreconcilable differences. According to the divorce settlement, Kidman and Urban have agreed to waive all rights to child and spousal support, with each party responsible for their own legal fees. Kidman will have the children with her for 306 days of the year, while Urban will have them for 59 days, or every other weekend.
Sources indicate that Kidman is deeply committed to her daughters during this period of transition. Following the holiday season in Australia, Kidman returned to Nashville with her daughters.
