Redmi is set to launch its Redmi Note 15 Pro series in India on January 29. A dedicated microsite is already live, confirming availability through the Xiaomi India online store. The Redmi Note 15 Pro series is confirmed to have a 200-megapixel "MasterPixel" camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an “HDR + AI” image engine. The handsets in the series will be capable of recording video at up to 4K. The phones will be available in brown with a golden frame and grey color options.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ both feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz 12-bit OLED display with a 3,200 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The regular Note 15 Pro uses a flat display, while the Pro+ has a quad-curved panel. Both phones have stereo speakers. The two phones also feature the same 200 MP main rear camera with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ uses a 32 MP selfie shooter, while the Note 15 Pro uses a 20 MP lens. Both phones are equally durable with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and an infrared sensor. The Redmi Note 15 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 7400 Ultra.
Redmi's Note 15 Pro series will pack a 6,500mAh silicon carbon battery, which is claimed to offer a five-year “long life cycle”. The lineup will also feature 100W HyperCharge wired fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging support. The Redmi Note 15 Pro series will be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process, paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The handsets will also ship with the IceLoop Cooling system to control the temperatures.
