Ameesha Patel, known for her role in the blockbuster film Gadar 2, recently addressed fan questions regarding the potential sequels Gadar 3 and Humraaz 2 during an interactive "Ask Me Anything" session on X (formerly Twitter). Her responses have ignited excitement among fans eager to see her return to these iconic roles.

When asked about Gadar 3, Patel stated that while she is open to the project, her involvement hinges on the script. She emphasized that she would only consider signing on if she were "super happy" with the script, underscoring the importance of the film's quality. Patel explained that the screenplay's execution is a top priority, believing it crucial for the film to be loved by the audience. She further added that as an actor, she prioritizes the film's needs above her own.

Addressing a fan's request for increased screen time for her character Sakina in Gadar 3, Patel reiterated her stance on script quality. She conveyed her deep affection for the character and acknowledged the audience's love for Sakina, but remained firm that her decision would depend on her satisfaction with the script.

Patel also spoke about her experience filming Gadar 2, revealing that she and Sunny Deol were actively involved in making corrections to the film. She said that they were unhappy with the initial direction of the movie and worked almost as "semi-ghost directors" to ensure it was brought "on the right track". She credited her friend Kunal Guma for his help in this process, suggesting that without these interventions, Gadar 2 might not have been successful.

Regarding Humraaz 2, Patel confirmed that the sequel to the 2002 film is in the works. She stated that the script is currently being written by Abbas-Mustan, the director duo behind the original film. She acknowledged Bobby Deol's recent success in the film Animal and expressed that the script for Humraaz 2 needs to be of a similar caliber to do justice to his talent. She noted that the directors and producers are actively working towards this goal.
