Taran Adarsh gave the film a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, describing it as an "OUTSTANDING" and "thunderous, emotionally charged war epic". Bollywood Hungama also gave it 4.5 stars out of 5, praising the writing, direction, emotional depth, performances, and action sequences, while suggesting some visual effects could have been better and the film could have been shorter.
