Shiv Panditt, born on June 21, 1984, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, has carved a niche for himself in the Indian entertainment industry as an actor, model, emcee, radio jockey, and television host. Known professionally as Shiv Panditt, he predominantly works in Hindi cinema and television.

Panditt's early life involved moving between different schools in Delhi, Karnataka, and Dehradun, due to his father's job as a government employee. He attended The Doon School in Dehradun and later graduated from Hindu College, University of Delhi. Even during his college days, Shiv was actively involved in theatre. Shiv comes from a family with a background in media; his brother, Arjun Pandit, is a sports anchor, and his sister, Gayatri Pandit, is an assistant director in Bollywood. On May 9, 2018, Shiv married Ameira Punvani, a costume designer, in a private ceremony in Delhi.

Shiv's career began as a Radio Jockey (RJ) at Radio Mirchi before transitioning to television. He gained recognition for his role as Chief Inspector Hanuman Prasad Pandey in the popular sitcom "FIR". He also hosted "Extraaa Innings T20" for the Indian Premier League in 2008.

Panditt made his screen debut in the critically acclaimed film "Shaitan" in 2011, which earned him a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He further debuted as a lead actor in the Tamil film "Leelai," receiving positive reviews for his performance. In 2022, Shiv Pandit was seen in web series "Chakravyuh". He played Captain Sandeep in the film "Laal Singh Chaddha".

Interestingly, another actor, Imran Khan, played the younger version of Aamir Khan in "Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak." Imran Khan had a stepfather, Raj Zutshi, who he considered his father figure during his childhood after his parents divorced when he was a toddler.

While Shiv Pandit has made a mark in the industry with his diverse roles, he remains grounded. In 2013, during the promotion of the film "Boss," where he played Akshay Kumar's brother, Shiv expressed his gratitude towards Akshay for the opportunity but clarified that he didn't consider Akshay his "godfather".

As of late January 2026, Shiv Pandit's sister, Ridhima Pandit, is confirmed to be a contestant on the reality show "The 50".
