Nora Fatehi and Badshah: Stars to Ignite ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Grand Opening Ceremony.

Mumbai is set to witness a dazzling opening ceremony for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 at the Wankhede Stadium on February 7, 2026. The event will precede the opening match between co-hosts India and the United States of America.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a star-studded lineup of performers for the opening ceremony. The ceremony will feature rapper Badshah, Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi, neo-classical sitarist Rishab Rikhiram Sharma, and percussionist Sivamani. These artists will combine music and performance to deliver a multi-genre entertainment showcase.

The program is scheduled to commence at 6 pm IST with a musical medley by Rishab Sharma and Sivamani. Following the musical performance, the ICC T20 World Cup trophy will make its entrance into the stadium, carried by a jetpack performer. ICC Chairman Jay Shah and former India captain Rohit Sharma, joined by 20 children representing each participating country, will then officially declare the tournament open. The ceremony will continue with performances by Badshah and Nora Fatehi.

Badshah expressed his excitement about performing at the event, stating that music, like cricket, brings people together. Rishab Rikhiram Sharma shared his honor in bringing Indian music to a global stage.

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, the tenth edition of the tournament, is co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Twenty national teams will compete in 55 matches across five venues in India and three venues in Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8. India, the defending champions, will begin their title defense against the United States after the opening ceremony.
