A three-and-a-half-year-old nursery student in Prayagraj tragically died after allegedly being slapped by teachers. The incident occurred at a private school in the Trans Yamuna area.

Following the child's death, an FIR (First Information Report) was lodged with the Naini police station against two teachers. The FIR was filed under section 304 of the BNS (culpable homicide not amounting to murder).

The family members of the boy, identified as Shivay Jaiswal, have alleged that the teachers subjected him to physical and emotional distress and failed to provide timely care and attention. According to the family, the child was crying in class and was taken to his elder brother's classroom by one teacher. When the other teacher arrived, they allegedly slapped the child for crying.

Additional CP (Law & Order) Ajay Pal stated that authorities are scanning CCTV footage, and legal action will be initiated accordingly. A detailed probe is expected to reveal the exact sequence of events.

The school authorities informed the child's father, Virendra Jaiswal, that his son was unwell, prompting him to rush to the school. The child was then taken to SN Children Hospital and SRN Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. A panel of two doctors conducted the post-mortem examination, and viscera was preserved.

An official at Naini police station confirmed that statements from family members and school staff have been recorded regarding the incident.
