The football world is buzzing with activity as Tottenham Hotspur begins its search for a new manager following the surprising dismissal of Ange Postecoglou, and England prepares to face Andorra in a World Cup qualifier.

Tottenham's decision to part ways with Postecoglou comes despite the Australian manager delivering the club's first silverware in 17 years – a Europa League title secured just weeks ago with a victory over Manchester United. However, a dismal Premier League campaign, which saw Spurs finish in 17th place with a club-record-equaling 22 defeats, ultimately led to his sacking. Chairman Daniel Levy has now initiated the search for the 11th permanent manager since the turn of the century.

Several names have already emerged as potential replacements for Postecoglou. Thomas Frank, currently managing Brentford, is considered an early frontrunner. Frank has garnered attention for his impressive work at Brentford, leading them to consistent performances in the Premier League. Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola is another strong contender, having made a significant impact with the Cherries. Other names linked with the Tottenham job include Oliver Glasner, who recently won a trophy, and Roberto De Zerbi. Even a return for Mauricio Pochettino has been mentioned.

Meanwhile, England is set to continue their World Cup qualifying campaign against Andorra. Under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel, who took over earlier this year, England has enjoyed a perfect start with wins over Albania and Latvia. The Three Lions currently lead Group K and will be aiming to extend their lead with a convincing victory over Andorra.

The match against Andorra is scheduled for a 5pm BST kick-off on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona. In the UK, the game will be televised live on ITV, with coverage beginning at 4.15pm BST on ITV1. Live streaming will also be available on ITVX.

Tuchel is expected to field a strong lineup against Andorra to secure the three points. Several players are in line to make their first appearances under Tuchel, including Bukayo Saka, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Cole Palmer. Trevoh Chalobah could also make his senior international debut. Harry Kane is anticipated to lead the attack and potentially equal Sir Bobby Charlton and Frank Lampard's record of 106 men's appearances.

England will be keen to secure a comfortable win against Andorra. While tougher tests against Serbia await later in the qualification campaign, Tuchel will be expecting nothing less than a dominant performance from his team.
