In a tragic turn of events, an 18-month-old girl died after falling into a pot of hot "chhole" (chickpeas) in the Duddhi area of Uttar Pradesh's Sonbhadra district. This occurred two years after the death of her sister, who also died in a similar incident involving a "dal pot".

The incident took place at the home of the girl's father, who is a chaat seller. On Saturday night, the toddler succumbed to the burn injuries she sustained after falling into the pot where chhole was being cooked.

This heartbreaking event highlights the importance of safety measures, especially in homes where cooking activities take place, to prevent such accidents. The loss is particularly devastating for the family, who have now experienced a similar tragedy with two of their children.
