Sunder Singh Jolly, the father of Salman Khan's longtime bodyguard Shera, has passed away at the age of 88. He had been battling cancer. Shera confirmed the news through an official statement.
The cremation is scheduled to take place today at the Oshiwara Crematorium in Jogeshwari West, Mumbai.
Shera, whose real name is Gurmeet Singh Jolly, has been Salman Khan's bodyguard for over 25 years. His dedication and loyalty have made him a familiar face alongside the Bollywood superstar. Shera also runs his own security company.
In a statement, Shera shared the news of his father's passing, expressing his grief. He had earlier posted a tribute to his father on social media on his 88th birthday.
