Among the attendees were Bollywood's beloved couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who not only graced the occasion with their presence but also immersed themselves in the spirit of the festival.
Videos and photos from the event quickly circulated on social media, capturing the couple's devotion and festive cheer. Deepika Padukone looked radiant in a golden brown Anarkali kurta and pants set. The anarkali featured a round neckline, full-length churidar sleeves, pleats on the back, mirror embroidery on the cuffs, and front panel embroidery. She complemented her look with smoky eye shadow, kohl-lined eyes, a sleek bun, chunky bracelets, jhumkis, and statement rings. Ranveer Singh, sporting a clean-shaven look reminiscent of his "Band Baaja Baraat" days, donned a mustard kurta set with delicate embroidery and brocade paneling. He completed his ensemble with vintage-style sunglasses and a neck chain.
In one of the viral videos, Ranveer Singh, visibly charged up, was seen breaking into an impromptu dance to the energetic beats of "Deva Shree Ganesha". His signature flair added to the already vibrant and devotional atmosphere. Harshdeep Kaur, a singer who also attended the celebrations, shared a selfie with Deepika and Ranveer, praising their humility and down-to-earth nature.
The couple was also captured offering prayers to Lord Ganesha and showering flower petals at his feet. Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were also present during the prayer.
Notably, Deepika and Ranveer attended the celebrations without their daughter, Dua, who will be celebrating her first birthday on September 8, 2025. The couple has maintained a strict no-photo policy for Dua.
