The romantic comedy "Param Sundari," starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, has shown a promising performance at the box office following its release on Friday. On its second day, Saturday, August 30, 2025, the film witnessed a jump in collections, indicating positive word-of-mouth and audience reception.

Early estimates suggest that "Param Sundari" earned around ₹9 crore on its second day in India. Some reports even suggest a higher figure of ₹9.22 crore. This is a significant increase from its opening day collection of ₹7.25 crore. As a result, the film's total box office collection after two days stands at approximately ₹16.25 crore to ₹16.47 crore.

The movie had an overall 18.13% Hindi Occupancy on Saturday. According to trade reports, "Param Sundari" had an overall occupancy of 13.85% on Saturday till noon. The movie had a moderate start with 9.67% occupancy. Then the afternoon shows saw a great jump, with a footfall of 18.03%.

Directed by Tushar Jalota, "Param Sundari" is a romantic comedy that revolves around Param Sachdev (Sidharth Malhotra), a Delhi-based investor who comes across a dating app called Find My Soulmate. Intrigued by its business model, he invests in the app and decides to test its credibility by traveling to a small town in Kerala to meet a girl who appears as his perfect match.

"Param Sundari" has outperformed Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh's "Mere Husband Ki Biwi," which had a lifetime collection of ₹12.85 crore. However, it is still far behind the second-day collection of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's "Chennai Express," which earned ₹28.05 crore.

The film has been maintaining pace with other romantic comedies released in 2025. "Bhool Chuk Maaf" starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi collected Rs 7 crore on its opening day, while "Son Of Sardaar 2" made Rs 7.25 crore on its first Friday.

With positive momentum and decent occupancy rates, "Param Sundari" is expected to continue its steady run at the box office. The film's music is also working well, and reviews have been moderate, which could contribute to its performance during the weekdays. The two day collection of the movie stands at Rs 15.50 crore, and a weekend in the vicinity of Rs 25 crore is expected.
