Prashant Kishor, the leader of Jan Suraaj Party, has recently taken a dig at Tejashwi Yadav, a prominent figure in Bihar politics, referencing a viral video and questioning his capabilities. This is not the first time Kishor has criticized Yadav; he has previously attacked Yadav's educational background and understanding of economic issues.

Kishor's recent comment was seemingly prompted by a video circulating on social media that featured Tejashwi Yadav celebrating the success of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra'. Kishor used the video to highlight what he perceives as Yadav's shortcomings, stating that Yadav "flunked in his studies, could not succeed in cricket which he tried a hand at, and is unable to even perform a gig".

This remark is the latest in a series of criticisms Kishor has leveled against Yadav. In the past, Kishor has questioned Yadav's ability to lead Bihar's development, pointing to his educational qualifications. He has highlighted that Yadav did not pass the 10th grade, despite having the advantages of a privileged background. Kishor has also claimed that Yadav lacks an understanding of basic economic concepts like GDP and GDP growth. According to Kishor, "A 9th fail is showing the way to Bihar's development".

Kishor has argued that Yadav's primary claim to leadership stems from being the son of former Chief Minister Lalu Yadav and a leader in the RJD due to family connections. He has urged Yadav to demonstrate his abilities through concrete actions and hard work, rather than relying on his family name.

Beyond Yadav's educational background and alleged lack of economic understanding, Kishor has also criticized Yadav's political promises and strategies. He has dismissed Yadav's promises of government jobs as misleading, arguing that even if fulfilled, they would only affect a small percentage of Bihar's population. Kishor has also challenged Yadav to speak about socialism without reading from a prepared statement, implying that Yadav lacks a fundamental understanding of the concept.

Kishor has also accused Tejashwi Yadav of being a leader associated with "Katta ( country-made pistol)" and "Rangdari (extortion)". He alluded to a time when Bihar was defined by "Katta culture" under the RJD's governance. He suggested that Yadav's current distribution of pens is a deceptive tactic, comparing it to a "old lion showing a golden bangle" to lure people.

These criticisms are part of a broader political narrative that Kishor is building as he prepares for the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar. Kishor has announced his intention to contest the elections, potentially from either his birthplace, Kargahar, or from Raghopur, the constituency currently held by Tejashwi Yadav. His continued attacks on Yadav serve to undermine Yadav's credibility and position himself as a viable alternative.
