The wait for the third season of the popular spy thriller, "The Family Man," may soon be over, with actor Darshan Kumaar, who plays Major Sameer, revealing that it is expected to be released in the next "two to three months".
Kumaar shared the update in an exclusive interview with Zoom, stating that "The Family Man 3 bohot jald aane wali hai. Within 2-3 months aa jani chahiye". He also hinted at surprises from his character, Major Sameer, who he describes as a mastermind against India in previous seasons, suggesting that the character will shock audiences this time around.
"The Family Man," created by Raj & DK, has gained immense popularity as one of India's most successful web series, blending action, espionage, and dark humor. The series stars Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, an intelligence officer who juggles the challenges of national security with his personal life. The show also features Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi.
The third season promises to be even more thrilling and intense, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. Kumaar described the upcoming season as "another level" and said that during the reading sessions, the character development was shocking, suggesting a thrilling and emotional storyline. He also mentioned that this season will be "three times more thrilling, quirkier, and loaded with suspense". The stakes are higher, the missions are riskier, and the tension is palpable throughout.
According to reports, filming for "The Family Man 3" wrapped up in January 2024. Raj & DK shared behind-the-scenes pictures from the wrap-up party, calling it their "toughest shoot yet".
