IndianOil welcomes Saumitra P Srivastava as Director of Marketing: A new era for the company.

Saumitra P Srivastava has recently assumed the role of Director (Marketing) at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), India's largest public sector energy company. This appointment marks a significant step in his career, which spans over three decades within the corporation.

Srivastava is an alumnus of IIT Roorkee, where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. He also holds an Executive MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. He began his career with IndianOil in the LPG business segment and has since held various key positions within the sales function.

Throughout his career, Srivastava has demonstrated expertise in downstream operations, marketing, and strategy. He is known for his collaborative and result-oriented leadership style, with a consistent track record of driving business growth, increasing profitability, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Prior to his current role, Srivastava served as Executive Director (Corporate Strategy). In that position, he focused on strategic planning, enhancing customer satisfaction, and improving operational metrics. He also played a key role in aligning corporate goals with sustainability and innovation.

Srivastava has been instrumental in leading major transformation projects within IndianOil. These include the development of structured Non-Fuel Convenience Stores and the Dhruva – Retail Transformation project, along with several other technology and digitalization initiatives. He has also been pivotal in digitizing the customer experience, enhancing operational efficiency, and redefining IndianOil's marketing roadmap.

In his new role as Director (Marketing), Srivastava will oversee IndianOil's vast, nationwide marketing infrastructure. This includes the retail, LPG, and aviation fuel businesses. He will also be responsible for marketing innovation, enhancing customer outreach, and spearheading the transition to sustainable and future-ready fuels.

Srivastava's vision for the Marketing Division is focused on building a more agile, efficient, technologically advanced, and diversified ecosystem. He aims to maintain a strong commitment to customer-centric practices while advancing the nation's shift towards sustainable and future-ready fuels.

His extensive experience also includes: * Divisional leadership in New Delhi and Mumbai * Zonal sales leadership in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand * Head of State for Maharashtra & Goa
