Tear and Heartbreak Outside LNJP Hospital as Families Gather to Get Bodies of Delhi Blast Victims

Scenes of inconsolable grief and chaos unfolded outside the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital in Delhi today, as families gathered to identify and claim the bodies of their loved ones who perished in Monday night's devastating blast near the Red Fort. The high-intensity explosion, which ripped through a moving Hyundai i20 car, claimed at least nine lives and left over 20 others injured.

The atmosphere at the hospital was thick with sorrow, as distraught relatives huddled together, their faces etched with pain and disbelief. Some broke down in tears upon confirming the worst, while others desperately pleaded with hospital staff for any information about missing family members. The arrival and departure of ambulances only amplified the anguish, serving as a constant reminder of the tragedy that had struck the city.

Authorities have detained at least four suspects and released CCTV footage of a masked man seen in a parking area.

The blast has prompted a high alert in Delhi, with security measures tightened across the city. The incident occurred hours after Jammu and Kashmir Police recovered nearly 3,000 kg of explosives from Faridabad, raising concerns about potential links and escalating security threats.
