At least four people were killed and five others sustained injuries when a Tata Sumo collided with a truck in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday night.
The accident occurred around 10:30 pm at Palar in Budgam. The Tata Sumo, a sports utility vehicle, collided with a dumper truck, according to officials. Following the collision, nine people were rushed to a nearby hospital. Doctors at the hospital declared four of them dead on arrival.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the deceased and injured. The exact cause of the collision remains under investigation.
