Archana Puran Singh, a regular on "The Great Indian Kapil Show," has seemingly confirmed the show's return for a third season through a recent vlog.
In her latest vlog, Archana, along with her husband Parmeet Sethi, and their sons Ayushmaan and Aaryamann, embarked on a quest to find the best samosa in Mumbai, visiting various eateries, including A1 Samosa and New India Sweet Mart. During the outing, while navigating, Archana playfully mixed up the name of "New India Sweet Mart" with "The Great Indian Kapil Show," which led to her revealing that they would soon begin shooting for the show and be back on screen. Her son, Ayushmaan, even joked that Archana was missing the stage and her chair.
The Great Indian Kapil Show" has been a popular comedy program. Kapil Sharma initially captured hearts with "Comedy Nights with Kapil" in 2013 before taking a break and returning with "The Kapil Sharma Show". After going off-air for a period, Kapil assured fans of a comeback with something bigger, which materialized as "The Great Indian Kapil Show" on Netflix. The revamped show received positive reviews and high viewership on the streaming platform.
While Archana Puran Singh has confirmed the return of the show, one familiar face, Sumona Chakravarti, will not be returning for the new season. The core cast members Krushna Abhishek, Rajeev Thakur, and Kiku Sharda, along with Archana, are expected to continue entertaining audiences in the upcoming season.
In a past interview, Archana discussed her role on the show and her iconic laughter, mentioning that she is "paid to laugh". She also humorously acknowledged that her fellow cast members earn more than her, justifying it by saying they work harder.
