The trailer for "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan," starring Vikrant Massey and marking Shanaya Kapoor's Bollywood debut, has been released, drawing support from fellow star kids like Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 11, 2025.

"Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan" is adapted from Ruskin Bond's short story, "The Eyes Have It". The film is directed by Santosh Singh and written by Mansi Bagla. The film is produced by Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla under Zee Studios and Mini Films. The movie is described as an emotional love story, exploring the bond and silent understanding between the lead characters.

Shanaya Kapoor plays Saba, a theatre artist who is pretending to be blind, and Vikrant Massey plays Jahaan Bakshi, a visually impaired musician. The film follows the creative journey of Saba and Jahaan, as they rediscover their passions and sense of self. The trailer showcases playful and romantic moments between the characters that evolve into a complex and emotional story. As Saba spends time with Jahaan, she starts developing feelings for him, which creates a complicated love triangle.

Shanaya Kapoor described her debut film as an emotional journey. She also visited a blind school to prepare for her role, which she found to be an enriching experience. She was initially set to debut with Karan Johar's "Bedhadak," but the project was later shelved. She expressed her excitement about her debut, stating it's a surreal and overwhelming feeling to see herself on YouTube.

Vikrant Massey is showcasing a fresh side of his acting range with this role. The film's music is composed by Vishal Mishra. The first single, "Nazara," was released on June 11, 2025, and the title track was released on June 21, 2025.

Shanaya has several upcoming projects, including the survival thriller "Tu Yaa Main" with Adarsh Gourav, "Vrushabha" with Mohanlal, and the "Student of the Year" web series.
