Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a recent address to the nation, delivered a strong message to Pakistan, emphasizing India's firm stance against terrorism. Modi asserted that terror incidents anywhere in the world could be traced back to Pakistan's terror hubs, specifically mentioning Bahawalpur and Muridke. He characterized these locations as "universities of global terrorism," suggesting their central role in fostering and facilitating terrorist activities worldwide.

Modi's remarks came in the wake of "Operation Sindoor," a series of precision strikes conducted by India against terror facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). This operation, launched in response to a terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 civilians, marked a turning point in India's approach to cross-border terrorism. Modi highlighted that the strikes on terrorist sites in Pakistan not only destroyed buildings but also shook the courage of terrorists. Over 100 terrorists were reportedly neutralized, including high-ranking operatives involved in attacks such as the hijacking of IC-814 and the Pulwama blast.

The Prime Minister made it clear that India has only paused its attacks on terrorist and military sites of Pakistan, suggesting that Operation Sindoor is very much on. He also emphasized that any future talks with Pakistan would be limited to the issues of terrorism and the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). He dismissed the possibility of normal diplomatic dialogue, stating firmly that "terror, trade, and talks cannot be done together". Modi also warned the Pakistani Army and Government of Pakistan that the way they continue to nurture terrorism, one day it will lead to Pakistan's own destruction.

Modi's address also served as a message to the international community, particularly in light of recent claims of brokered ceasefires and potential talks between India and Pakistan. He emphasized that India would not tolerate any "nuclear blackmail" and that it would respond decisively to any threats or terror attacks on its soil. He also stated that India will hit back, on our terms and conditions. Modi's statements underscored India's commitment to prioritizing national dignity, justice, and deterrence in its approach to dealing with terrorism.

The mention of Bahawalpur and Muridke as "terror universities" is particularly significant. These locations have been associated with terrorist organizations and activities for a long time. By directly naming them, Modi aimed to highlight Pakistan's role in nurturing terrorism and to send a strong message that India would hold Pakistan accountable for its actions. He also stated that all big terrorist attacks in the world, including 9/11 or big terrorist attacks in India, are somehow or the other connected to these terrorist sites. This direct accusation underscores the severity with which India views Pakistan's alleged involvement in terrorism and signals a shift towards a more proactive and assertive approach in dealing with the issue.

In conclusion, Prime Minister Modi's address served as a firm warning to Pakistan and a clear articulation of India's zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism. The reference to Bahawalpur and Muridke as "terror universities" emphasized the alleged role of these locations in fostering global terrorism and underscored India's determination to hold Pakistan accountable. Modi's message was clear: India will not hesitate to take strong action against terrorism, and it will not engage in talks with Pakistan unless the issue of terrorism is addressed and PoK is returned.
