Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's romantic comedy, "Bhool Chuk Maaf," has exceeded expectations during its opening weekend, proving to be a box office success. The film, a unique blend of science fiction and romance set against the backdrop of wedding festivities, has resonated well with audiences, resulting in impressive earnings.

On its third day, Sunday, May 25, 2025, "Bhool Chuk Maaf" raked in an estimated ₹11.25 crore to ₹11.50 crore, marking its biggest single-day collection. This strong performance propelled the film past the ₹25 crore mark in domestic net collections, with early estimates suggesting a total of ₹27.75 crore to ₹28 crore after just three days.

The film's journey at the box office began with a solid ₹7 crore on its opening day, Friday, May 23, 2025. It then witnessed a substantial rise on Saturday, collecting ₹9.5 crore, a growth of over 35% from its debut. The upward trend continued on Sunday, with collections further increasing by approximately 18.42%.

According to Sacnilk, "Bhool Chuk Maaf" had an overall 30.01% Hindi occupancy on Sunday, May 25, 2025. The film's worldwide collection stands at ₹22.07 crore Gross, with ₹16.5 crore from India (net) and ₹50 lakh from overseas markets on Day 3.

"Bhool Chuk Maaf" is directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Maddock Films. The film's success can be attributed to its engaging storyline, the chemistry between Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, and its unique genre mix.

The film is already making waves in Rajkummar Rao's career, becoming his 8th highest-grossing film within just 72 hours of release. If "Bhool Chuk Maaf" maintains its strong performance throughout the weekdays, it has a high chance of crossing the ₹30 crore mark and solidifying its position as a box office success.

However, the film faces competition from Tom Cruise's "Mission: Impossible 8." The coming days will be crucial in determining the film's long-term success, especially as it relies on organic audience engagement without special ticket offers. "Bhool Chuk Maaf" is also slated for an early OTT release in the first week of June 2025.
