Television actor Vibhu Raghave, known for his roles in "Nisha Aur Uske Cousins," "Suvreen Guggal," and "Rhythm," passed away on June 2nd, after a prolonged battle with stage four colon cancer. He was 37 years old. Diagnosed in 2022, Vibhu had been undergoing treatment at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital. Despite the severity of his condition, he remained active on social media, sharing updates about his journey. Throughout his illness, Vibhu remained transparent about the challenges he faced. He used his platform to talk about cancer, treatments, and its emotional toll. In his last Instagram post, dating back to mid-April, Vibhu spoke to the camera about his cancer battle, informing fans that a PET scan had revealed that his cancer had spread from his liver to his lungs and spine. He had captioned the post, "A day at a time." "We started chemotherapy in January, and after four rounds, I went for a scan. Sadly, we found out the treatment was not working, and the cancer was spreading," said Vibhu. With a smile, Vibhu added that he was in the middle of a new treatment and keeping his fingers crossed.

In recent months, Vibhu's close friends, including Addite, Simple Kaul, Mohit Malik, and Anjali Anand, launched a crowdfunding campaign to help cover his rising medical costs. Anjali Anand also paid tribute to Vibhu, remembering him as a kind, spirited, and vibrant soul.
