The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi has officially released the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result for the 2025 session today, June 9, 2025. The results, which were made available after 3 PM, can be accessed on the official website, jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. This announcement marks a crucial step for students seeking admission to undergraduate programs in engineering, architecture, and management at Delhi's premier government-funded universities.
Candidates who successfully registered and completed their choice filling by June 2, 2025, were eligible to participate in this first round of seat allotment. The allotment process takes into consideration several factors, including the candidate's JEE Main rank, the availability of seats, and the preferences selected by the candidates during the choice filling period. For IIIT Delhi, a separate merit list is prepared based on percentile scores. A total of 2643 seats have been allotted for admission through JAC Delhi 2025.
To check the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result, candidates need to visit the official JAC Delhi website and log in using their JEE Main application number and password. Upon logging in, the allotment status will be displayed, indicating whether a seat has been offered and, if so, the details of the allotted institute and program.
Candidates who are allotted seats in Round 1 have several options: they can accept the offered seat, and those satisfied with their allotment must freeze their seats by June 19, 2025, failing which their candidature will be cancelled. To confirm the seat, candidates are required to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 75,000 through online mode or via an SBI challan. The last date for physical reporting to the allotted institutes after seat acceptance is June 18, 2025.
For those who are not satisfied with the seat allotted in Round 1, there is an opportunity to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling. The results for Rounds 2 and 3 are scheduled to be released on June 24 and June 30, respectively. This allows candidates to aim for a better choice based on seat availability and changes in their preferences, if permitted.
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi was established in 2014 by the Government of NCT of Delhi to streamline the admission process for undergraduate programs in various Delhi Government funded universities. This initiative aims to reduce the inconvenience caused by multiple admission counselling sessions.
All candidates are advised to regularly visit the official JAC Delhi website for the latest updates and detailed information regarding the counselling process, seat matrix, and other important instructions. Candidates can also install the "Sandes" app to receive counselling-related messages.
