Country music star Lauren Alaina and her husband, Cam Arnold, are overjoyed to announce the arrival of their first child, a baby girl named Beni Doll Arnold. The couple welcomed their daughter on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee, marking a new chapter in their lives filled with love and excitement.
The news was shared by Alaina on Friday, June 13, alongside heartwarming photos of the new family in the hospital. In an emotional Instagram post, Alaina expressed the profound impact Beni's arrival has had on her. "The right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn't even know existed were unlocked at 8:44 am when they laid you on my belly for the first time," she wrote. "I will never be the same. You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us to be your parents."
Beni Doll Arnold weighed 7 lbs 13oz and measured 19 inches long at birth. The couple, who celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in November 2024, are already relishing their roles as parents. Alaina had previously expressed her excitement about seeing her husband as a dad, noting his natural caregiving abilities.
To celebrate the arrival of her daughter, Alaina released a new song titled "Heaven Sent." This autobiographical song, co-written with HARDY and Ben Johnson, reflects on Alaina's journey into motherhood and the new sense of purpose it has brought her, especially after the loss of her father. Alaina shared that she found out she was pregnant just weeks after her father's passing, making the song a deeply personal tribute to both her daughter and her late father.
"I have a little surprise for everyone. To celebrate the most precious miracle on Earth, I have decided to release a song I wrote about my daughter," Alaina shared. "We learned she was coming in a time of deep sadness after the loss of my daddy. I wasn't sure when I would share 'Heaven Sent,' but watching my own husband become a father the last couple of days has made me want to share it with you now. She came just before Father's Day – my first without my own father. A day that will forever be hard to me, but I now have a new and perfect reason to celebrate it: Beni's daddy, my sweet and steady husband. Beni is truly a gift from God that my old man sitting up there in Heaven Sent."
Alaina had announced her pregnancy earlier this year in the music video for her song "Those Kind of Women." The video, which celebrates motherhood and the influential women in her life, concluded with a dedication to "my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer 2025."
The singer has been open about embracing the changes her body has undergone during pregnancy, expressing amazement at what the female body is capable of. She also admitted to seeking advice from her mother and friends with children as she prepared for motherhood.
"Heaven Sent" follows Alaina's recent releases, including "All My Exes (featuring Chase Matthew)," "Household," and "Those Kind of Women."
