Amitabh began his tribute by quoting a poignant verse from his own father, the esteemed poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan: "My sons, just because you are my sons, shall not be my inheritors; they who shall be my inheritors, shall be my sons." This set the stage for Amitabh's declaration that Abhishek has earned the title of "inheritor" not through lineage, but through his own merit, hard work, and unwavering commitment to his art.
