In a shocking incident mirroring the recent honeymoon murder case in Meghalaya, a newlywed man in Andhra Pradesh fell victim to a murder plot allegedly orchestrated by his wife, her lover, and her mother. G. Tejeshwar, a 32-year-old land surveyor from Jogulamba Gadwal district in Telangana, was found dead just a month after his marriage to Aishwarya, 25, from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
The couple's wedding, held on May 18, 2025, at the Anjaneya temple in Beechupalli, was already tinged with controversy. Initially scheduled for February, the wedding was postponed after Aishwarya disappeared without informing her family. She later returned, claiming financial difficulties and family pressure, which convinced Tejeshwar to proceed with the marriage, despite his family's reservations.
Barely a month into their marriage, Tejeshwar went missing on June 17. His body, bearing knife injuries and a slit throat, was discovered in a canal near Sugalimettu, Panyam mandal, approximately 30-40 km from Kurnool city. The police investigation quickly focused on Aishwarya and her family, particularly after Tejeshwar's relatives alleged that Aishwarya was involved in an extramarital affair even after the wedding.
The investigation uncovered a disturbing twist: Aishwarya and her mother, Sujatha, were allegedly both involved with the same man—a senior employee at a bank in Kurnool named Tirumal Rao. Sujatha worked as a sweeper at the bank, and both she and her daughter had developed relationships with Rao. Call records revealed that after her marriage, Aishwarya made over 2,000 calls to the bank employee, raising suspicions about her intentions.
According to the police, the bank employee, Tirumal Rao, who is currently absconding, orchestrated the murder with the help of hired killers and his personal driver. Tejeshwar was lured under the guise of conducting a land survey for a 10-acre farmland. He was then murdered en route. Aishwarya is believed to have shared her husband's live location with the killers.
After committing the murder, the accused reportedly met Rao and showed him the body. Rao then paid the hitmen ₹2 lakh. They initially considered burying the body on Rao's land but later decided to dump it in a canal.
Both Aishwarya and her mother, Sujatha, have reportedly confessed to their roles in the crime during interrogation. A search is currently underway for the absconding bank employee and other suspects involved in the killing.
This gruesome incident bears a striking resemblance to the recent honeymoon murder case in Meghalaya, where a wife allegedly murdered her husband with the help of her lover. Both cases highlight the devastating consequences of infidelity, betrayal, and greed.
