The film's release was officially announced during a special meeting with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow. The new release date is set for June 27, 2025.

2. Maa:

Directed by Vishal Furia, "Maa" is a Hindi-language mythological horror film featuring Kajol in the lead role as a determined mother protecting her daughter from supernatural forces. The film also stars Ronit Bose Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, and Kherin Sharma. Produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande, "Maa" is written by Saiwyn Quadras and is promoted as part of the Shaitaan universe. The film has received a UA 16+ rating from the Central Board of Film Certification. "Maa" is set to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali on June 27, 2025.
