Shefali Jariwala, the actress and model best known for her "Kaanta Laga" music video and her participation in Bigg Boss 13, has died in Mumbai. She was 42 years old.

Jariwala was reportedly rushed to the hospital by her husband, Parag Tyagi, and three others after suffering a cardiac arrest late Friday night. Doctors pronounced her dead upon arrival. Her body was then transferred to Cooper Hospital around 12:30 a.m. for a postmortem examination. According to the Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) at Cooper Hospital, the postmortem report will confirm the exact cause of death.

Mumbai Police arrived at Jariwala's Andheri residence late Friday night to begin an investigation. A forensic team was also dispatched and conducted a thorough examination of the premises. While authorities have not released an official statement regarding the cause of her death, the presence of police and forensic experts suggests the case is being treated as potentially suspicious.

She also appeared in Salman Khan's film "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" and the web series "Baby Come Naa" in 2019.
