Aamir Khan's "Sitaare Zameen Par" has crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the Indian box office within nine days of its release. The film, also starring Genelia Deshmukh, witnessed substantial growth on its second Saturday, with early estimates indicating a collection of ₹12.75 crore on Day 9.

The movie's Day 9 earnings mark a significant increase compared to the ₹6.65 crore it earned on the previous day, demonstrating a near 100% jump in collections. This surge in revenue propelled the film's total domestic box office collection to ₹108.30 crore.

The film has shown impressive growth in ticket sales, with a 102% increase recorded by 2 PM on its second Saturday compared to the previous day. "Sitaare Zameen Par" has maintained a strong occupancy rate, registering 36.57% Hindi occupancy on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Throughout the day, the film consistently sold approximately 12,000 tickets per hour, with peak hours performing even better than the previous week.

Directed by RS Prasanna, "Sitaare Zameen Par" has been praised for its emotional and heartwarming storyline. The film features Aamir Khan as a basketball coach who trains a team of players with special needs. The cast includes Genelia D'Souza and introduces ten new faces to the big screen: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.

Despite facing competition from new releases, "Sitaare Zameen Par" has remained strong, with its Day 9 earnings exceeding its opening day collection. The positive reception and strong box office performance suggest that the film will continue to perform well in the coming days, with projections estimating it will reach around ₹120 crore by the end of its second weekend.
