The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 results soon, with over 13 lakh students awaiting their scorecards for undergraduate admissions. While the NTA has not yet released an official date, expectations are that the results will be declared in the last week of June 2025.

Key Updates and Expectations

The NTA had released the provisional answer keys on June 17, 2025, allowing candidates to raise objections until June 20, 2025. Subject experts have reviewed all valid objections, and updates have been incorporated into the final answer key, which is expected to be released just before the results. Along with the results, the NTA may also publish subject-wise toppers and their scores.

How to Check Your CUET UG 2025 Result

Once released, candidates can check their results and download their scorecards from the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. Here’s how:

  1. Visit the official website: cuet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Click on the "CUET UG 2025 Scorecard" link.
  3. Enter your application number and date of birth.
  4. Click “Submit”.
  5. Download and save your scorecard for future reference. It is advisable to take multiple printouts for use during counselling rounds.

Details Mentioned on the Scorecard

Candidates should carefully check the following details on their scorecards:

  • Candidate's name
  • Roll number
  • Date of birth
  • Photograph and signature
  • Section-wise raw marks
  • Normalized scores/percentile
  • Overall score
  • Overall percentile
  • Category
  • Course name and code
  • Eligibility status for participating universities
  • Subject code

What Happens After the Results?

The NTA will not provide an all-India common rank list. Instead, individual universities will use CUET scores to prepare their merit lists. Participating universities will open admission portals and announce cut-off lists based on CUET scores. Candidates need to apply for admission to the participating universities. The CUET results will be automatically sent to these universities. Each participating university will release its own admission cut-off scores based on CUET performance.

Important Points to Remember

  • No Centralized Counselling: CUET UG does not have a centralized counselling system.
  • Individual University Applications: Students must apply to each university or college they are interested in and participate in their counselling processes.
  • Merit Lists: Universities will release cut-off lists based on CUET scores.
  • Keep Checking University Websites: Stay updated on admission related announcements by regularly checking university websites.

Exam Pattern

This year, the CUET UG exam pattern was revised, with changes introduced in the exam duration, mode of examination, and number of subjects. The exam was held in CBT mode with three sections. Section 1 comprised 13 languages, while sections 2 and 3 included 23 domain subjects and the general aptitude test, respectively.
