Here are five films to consider enjoying this week, encompassing a range of genres and cinematic experiences:

1. Jurassic World Rebirth

Gareth Edwards directs "Jurassic World Rebirth," a new installment in the "Jurassic Park" franchise, which is set to be released on July 2, 2025. This film is intended as a soft reboot of the series, acting as a standalone sequel to "Jurassic World Dominion" and taking place five years later. The film features a new cast, including Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey. The plot revolves around a mission to secure dinosaur DNA from the largest creatures in isolated tropical environments to create a life-saving drug. However, the team encounters dangers, including a monstrous mutant dinosaur known as the D-Rex and raptors. Edwards teases that this film leans more into horror than previous installments. Shot on location in Thailand and Malta, the film promises wild dino-action and large-scale set pieces.

2. Metro… In Dino

"Metro… In Dino," directed by Anurag Basu, is scheduled to be released on July 4, 2025. Serving as a spiritual sequel to Basu's 2007 film "Life in a… Metro," this film explores modern love stories set in a bustling urban environment. The film features an ensemble cast, including Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. It portrays four different couples across various age groups navigating the complexities of love. Ali Fazal underwent guitar training for his role as a musician in the film. The film's music is composed by Pritam, who also composed music for "Life in a... Metro".

3. Deep Cover

"Deep Cover" is a comedy-crime-drama starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, and Nick Mohammed. Kat (Bryce Dallas Howard), an improv comedy teacher, is given the task of going undercover and enlists two of her best students to help her infiltrate London's criminal underworld.

4. F1: The Movie

"F1: The Movie" has already been released. The film has taken the top spot at the weekend box office.

5. M3GAN 2.0
