BTS members Jimin and Jungkook have confirmed their return to the screen with the second season of their travel reality show, "Are You Sure?!", which was filmed in Switzerland and Vietnam. The new season marks their first joint project since being discharged from their mandatory military service on June 11, 2025.
The show's production company, BIGHIT MUSIC, confirmed that Jimin and Jungkook recently wrapped up filming for the second season of "Are You Sure?!". The filming took place shortly after their military discharge, with Switzerland and Vietnam serving as the main backdrops for their adventures.
The first season of "Are You Sure?!" premiered on Disney+ in August 2024 and followed Jimin and Jungkook as they embarked on a trip to create unforgettable memories before enlisting in the military in 2023. The first season showcased road trips across New York State, the beaches of Jeju Island, and the snowy landscapes of Sapporo, Japan. The charm of the show came from simple moments such as cooking ramen in a camper van, kayaking mishaps, and honest late-night talks. A surprise visit from fellow BTS member V was one of the highlights of the season.
The second season promises the same energy as the first season, but with brand-new scenery and stories. Promotional materials from Disney+ indicate that this season will be a joyful return, celebrating Jimin and Jungkook's renewed freedom and friendship.
Jimin and Jungkook enlisted together as active-duty soldiers in December 2023. Hundreds of fans gathered in the early morning hours to catch a glimpse of Jimin and Jungkook after their discharge. The pair addressed the fans who had assembled to see them after their discharge. Jungkook thanked the fans and journalists who traveled to see him and Jimin. Jimin mentioned that it had been a long time since he had been in front of cameras and that he was a bit embarrassed.
With the filming of "Are You Sure?!" Season 2 wrapped up, anticipation is building for BTS's full group comeback, which is officially scheduled for March 2026. HYBE has confirmed that the group will reunite after all members complete their military service. This will be BTS's first group activity since they began their hiatus in 2022, during which the members focused on solo careers.
