The BTS ARMY is experiencing a wave of emotions following the confirmation that all seven members of the globally renowned K-pop group, BTS, will reunite in 2026 for new music and a world tour. This announcement, made during a Weverse livestream on July 1st, marks the end of a hiatus that allowed the members to fulfill their mandatory military service and pursue individual projects.

The news has triggered an outpouring of joy and excitement across social media platforms, with fans expressing their feelings through heartfelt messages, fan art, and nostalgic tributes. The hashtag #welcomeback embodies the warm embrace from the fandom towards each member, reflecting a sense of belonging and support. Many fans are sharing their favorite BTS moments, reminiscing about past performances, and speculating about the group's future endeavors. The last album of the band was in 2020 with Be.

BTS's hiatus was primarily due to the mandatory military service requirements in South Korea, which require all men to serve in the armed forces. With all members having completed their service, they are now able to resume group activities. The band members are already counting down for June 13. RM, who began the countdown as soon as he enlisted in military service, shared over several photos that showed the return of his dimpled smiles, something that ARMY had been missing. Similarly, V, who wasn't going to be left behind, shared more photos of his bulked-up transformation.

The septet has announced plans to begin working on new music this month, with a new album expected in the spring of 2026. "Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music,” the band said. “Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member's thoughts and ideas. We're approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started".

Alongside the new album, BTS has also confirmed a world tour, their first since the Permission to Dance On Stage concerts in 2021. "We're also planning a world tour alongside the new album. We'll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you're as excited as we are,” the group stated during the livestream.

The return of BTS is not only a momentous occasion for the ARMY but also a significant event for the music industry. The group's influence and impact on global pop culture are undeniable, and their comeback is highly anticipated by fans and industry experts alike.

In the meantime, ARMYs are celebrating the reunion and the individual achievements of the members during their solo activities. The reconnection symbolizes strength and the deep bond that BTS has nurtured over the years. The excitement is palpable as fans eagerly await the new music and tour, ready to support BTS in their next chapter.
