The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana is a central government initiative that provides financial assistance to eligible farmers across India. Under this scheme, farmers receive ₹6,000 annually, disbursed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 every four months. This amount is directly credited to their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). As of June 2025, farmers are anticipating the release of the 20th installment. While the exact date is not yet officially announced, media reports suggest it may be deposited around June 20, 2025. The 19th installment was released on February 24, 2025.

To ensure a smooth transfer of the 20th installment, farmers must complete the mandatory e-KYC process and verify that their bank and land records are accurate and up to date. Completing the e-KYC is compulsory to receive the installment. This can be done online by visiting the PM Kisan portal and selecting the "e-KYC" option. Farmers must enter their Aadhaar number, validate it through an OTP, and submit the verification.

What to do if Your Name Is Not Included in the Beneficiary List?

The PM Kisan beneficiary list includes the names of farmers who have successfully registered for the scheme and have been verified as eligible. If your name is not on the beneficiary list, here's what you can do:

  • Check the Beneficiary List: Visit the official PM Kisan portal, go to the "Farmers Corner," select "Beneficiary List," and enter your location details. The list is updated regularly, usually after each installment is released.
  • Double-check Your Details: Ensure all your details are correct, including your Aadhaar number, bank account information, and other information provided during registration. Incomplete or incorrect details can prevent your name from appearing on the list. You can edit your Aadhaar details on the PM-Kisan portal.
  • Contact Local Authorities: Visit your local agriculture office or CSC center to resolve any issues related to your registration or eligibility. All farmer families can request to have their names included on the beneficiary list by contacting the District Level Grievance Redressal Monitoring Committee in their Districts.
  • Use the PM Kisan Helpline: There is a dedicated helpline for PM Kisan Yojana where you can raise concerns about your beneficiary status. You can file a complaint by calling the PM Kisan Samman Helpline at 011-24300606. You can also contact 011-24300606 or 155261 to register your name on the PM Kisan beneficiary list. The PM Kisan toll-free number is 1800115526. You can also email pmkisan-ict@gov.in.
  • New Farmer Registration: If you are not yet registered, you can submit your details online through the "New Farmer's Registration" link on the PM-KISAN website. The online form includes self-declaration on eligibility and a few required fields. Once the farmer has successfully completed and submitted the Form, it is automatically sent to the State Nodal Officer (SNO) for review.
  • Beneficiary Status: Through this link, beneficiaries can check the status of their installment payments individually by providing their Aadhaar number, bank account number, or registered mobile number.

There may be several reasons for your name not appearing in the PM Kisan beneficiary list. These include incomplete or incorrect details, an ongoing verification process, or ineligibility for the scheme. If you do not meet the eligibility criteria, your name will not be included in the list.

The PM-KISAN scheme was launched to provide income support to all landholding farmer families to help them meet their financial needs for purchasing various inputs for agriculture and related activities, as well as for domestic needs. Registered farmers also receive various other benefits provided by the government to make their lives simpler and easier.
